WWN Meetup: The Aftermath

So on Thursday 7th Jan, WOMWorld Nokia descended into hell as Michael Hell (Thoughts From Hell) returned to the UK.

In true WOMWorld style, WOMWorld pushed the boat out; mobiles, booze, geeks & pizza! What more could we want?

Personally, it was my first invite to the WOMWorld Nokia Towers & I would like to thank everyone at WOMWorld & 1000Heads for inviting me! I was glad I had the chance to meet up with (Chris, Lydia, Katie & Tom from WOMWorld/Nokia & 1000heads), Dan (WorldOfNokia) and Jay Montano (MyNokiaBlog) whom I hadn’t seen since the N900 meetup in November! I also had the chance to meet Michael Hell for the first time and I also met the infamous James Whatley (Whatleydude), who entertained several questions I had (Thanks!).

The night began with a few people mingling with nibbles laid out, and a seemingly unlimited supply of wine & beer, whilst we all awaited the arrival of Michael Hell. From there, the number of people increased & WOMWorld ordered some pizza which was a neat touch!

Time flew by and the majority of us descended upon a bar next door where again the alcohol flowed and everyone was catching up with mobile & non-mobile talk.

All in all the night was brilliant and I can safely report that @Katieb86’s idea of pouring white wine on my shirt (after I had spilled some red wine on it) worked perfectly and the shirt is as good as new!
